As a Beauty Advisor - Fragrance Specialist at Sephora, your role is to provide exceptional customer service and expert advice to clients. You will be responsible for creating a personalized and engaging shopping experience, helping clients find the right products to address their specific needs. Your knowledge and passion for Fragrances will drive sales and contribute to the success of our Sephora store in the UK.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Customer Assistance: Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to their needs and preferences. Offer personalized recommendations and advice, taking into consideration individual requests. Provide detailed information on products’ ingredients and delight our customers’ senses, offering them a moment of exceptional well-being.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest fragrance trends, and products available at Sephora. Continuously expand your knowledge of new product launches, ingredients, and industry innovations to provide accurate and valuable information to customers. Support our customers, teaching them how to layer fragrances at home.
  • Sales and Goals: Proactively engage customers to drive sales and meet store sales targets. Recommend additional products, upsell complementary items, and promote Sephora's loyalty program. Actively participate in promotional activities and events to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Visual Merchandising: Support your store team with merchandising procedures (products, testers, prices, animations, cash desk area, stock room, etc.) according to the Company’s standards. Ensure shelves are stocked with an appropriate quantity of products at all times. Participate in visual merchandising activities, including product displays and promotions.
  • Brand Representation: Embody the Sephora brand values and maintain a professional appearance at all times. Ensure the store's visual merchandising standards are upheld, including cleanliness and organization of displays. Act as a brand ambassador by actively promoting Sephora's values and offerings.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the store team, including other beauty advisors and managers, to create a positive and inclusive work environment. Support your store team in explaining and demonstrating new products, trends and any specific fragrance demonstrations or story-telling. Actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and workshops.
  • Operations: Assist at the cash desk when asked to, ensuring a positive customer experience. Transition seamlessly to the stockroom to support in deliveries and maintain efficient replenishment processes. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the overall operational success of our store. Support other beauty sections in the store, when asked to.

 

Skills:

 

  • You are a natural story-teller passionate about fragrance and delighting customers.
  • You have essential fragrance knowledge, and in store sales & services experience.
  • You have excellent communication & empathic skills.
  • You have the ability to be creative and innovative.
  • Goal-oriented mindset and proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • You speak English fluently (any other language would be a plus).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
