The opportunity:

Sephora Korea is one of the most exciting teams in the company – with a mission of helping the world’s #1 beauty retailer and only global, authentic beauty expert win in one of the world’s most dynamic and exciting beauty markets.

In this team, the Sephora Integrated Marketing Lead is a critical position, in charge of orchestrating, coordinating and defining Sephora’s voice to our customers. Responsible for the entirety of our marketing, you will define and guide our advertising, social, PR, events and experience in our store, app or website to ensure a consistent and appealing message.

Delivering this message will also be your responsibility – defining our full year marketing calendar, the development and execution of all of our campaigns in market, and commanding the lion’s share of the marketing budget. 

A leadership role, you will be in charge of bringing together the various expertise functions within our marketing team, as well as eCommerce, Retail and Merchandising, to ensure we are delighting our Korean consumer with a focused, brilliantly executed experience. You will report to Korea’s Marketing Lead, but also interact frequently with Sephora regional marketing leadership and the overall Korea LT on multiple projects and workstreams.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth of members and improvement of our brand purchase funnel and brand equity, developing insights and operationalizing them with strong and perfectly executed campaigns. 
  • Lead the entirety of our marketing calendar for Korea, from planning to execution
  • Coordinate our media planning and investments across marketing touchpoints and various vehicles to ensure we are driving the right outcomes
  • As a leader, you will envision, inspire and engage marketing expert teams (social & comms, brand partner marketing, CRM & Loyalty, Customer Experience) as well as key partner functions Merch, eCommerce and Retail to build and execute fully integrated marketing plans that go from above the line advertising to below the line in store/on app/on site experiences.
  • As the voice of Sephora Korea, influence and collaborate with global/regional teams to ensure their campaigns drive local market needs.
  • Influence and build consensus and partnership across multiple stakeholders, unlocking focus, scale and clarity for our team on how to best serve and delight our Korean customers across all elements of the Korea strategy.


We would love to hear from you if you have/are...

  • A well established marketing leader, able to think through all elements of a 360 degree marketing plan (including media, comms/social, instore, online, etc.). 
  • An outstanding planner, organized and with an impeccable attention to detail, with experience managing complex projects with multiple teams and moving parts.
  • Experienced at building and establishing teams through influence and stakeholder engagement
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication and persuasion skills
  • Comfortable influencing senior leaders and peers
  • Data oriented, but also able to also make agile, principle based decisions in ambiguous situations 
  • Emotionally resilient: able to find a path through differing priorities and concerns, able to embrace failure as a way to learn.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English
  • At least 8 years of work experience in leadership roles (ideally marketing)
  • Comfortable in both international and local working cultures and regional + local matrix teams. 
  • Experience in retail or fast moving consumer good industries (particularly beauty) is valued.
