Brand Partner Marketing Executive (12 month FTC)

As the Brand Partner Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of marketing activity for Sephora ANZ, run in collaboration with our key brand partners.

 

In this capacity, the Brand Partner Marketing Executive maintains strong relationships and consistent communication with our Category Management team and external brand partners. You will be responsible for supporting & executing brand-marketing plans for over 150 brands to optimize programs using Sephora’s marketing levers through omni-channel execution. You will be part of the wider Marketing & E-Commerce team and represent Sephora as the main marketing point of contact for our key brands.

  • Being the main point of contact within the marketing team for over 150 selective and exclusive brands across all categories: Makeup, Skincare, Haircare & Fragrance.
  • Conceptualising and executing brand launch plans and strategies for A-Grade brand launches in collaboration with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Category Management team.
  • Establishing long-term strategies for our key growth brands, building & pitching quarterly support plans by identifying key marketing opportunities. 
  • Being the key point of contact for our brand partners and act as a conduit between the brands and internal stakeholders in Marketing, E-Commerce, Category Management, and other departments 
  • Attending brand market weeks twice yearly and share Sephora insights and opportunities to amplify with Sephora.
  • Leading the marketing strategy for Sephora Collection, working with Category Management, SC Regional/Global and local marketing team to execute campaigns to drive brand awareness, conversion and growth.  
  • Developing the overarching brand partnerships strategy, outlining the marketing activities to be executed in collaboration with our identified key brand partners.  
  • Managing the brand partner marketing budget, working with the Head of Marketing to ensure targets are achieved within budget.   
  • Building brand sampling and GWP plans to support local Sephora campaigns and brand product launches.
  • In close collaboration with Category Management team, advising the brands on how to win at Sephora from a channel-marketing standpoint, including sampling strategy, social media strategy, co-op advertising and consumer messaging to achieve mutually beneficial business objectives.
  • For select brands with limited marketing means, advising on general marketing strategies and the best use of the brand’s marketing resources, both inside and outside of the immediate world of Sephora.
  • Analysing and reporting on Sephora and brand ROI for collaborative marketing. Utilise data to make recommendations to deliver win-wins for both the brands and Sephora
  • Day-to-day planning of our Brand Partners’ marketing communications by working with our key internal stakeholders to execute on planning

 

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Marketing and Communications, with a strength in creative thinking to develop campaign concepts 
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or business   
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills 
  • Experience in budget management 
  • Experience in digital marketing 
  • Experience in the beauty industry a plus   
  • The ability to demonstrate skills in both negotiation and influencing decision making 
  • Campaign reporting and analysis experience  
  • Track record of leading cross-functional project teams
