Your role at Sephora:
Sephora is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to run our Product Analytics & Insights team.  In this role, you will manage the product analytics and testing team within product management.  For Product Analytics, the Senior Manager will oversee team members responsible for defining tracking requirements in Adobe Analytics for our websites, mobile apps and in-store applications – and enable insights and informed decision making across our digital and stores business teams.  You will also collaborate closely across the Product Management team to ensure all roadmap projects are assessed for analytics the right KPIs are developed instrumented correctly.  You will be a key partner to ensure the product roadmap delivers the intended business results.  In addition, you will oversee team members responsible for set up, validation and activation of A/B and multi-variant tests on our digital platforms, utilizing Adobe Test & Target.  You will partner with business and engineering stakeholders to define our testing needs, test audience, sequencing and ensure successful implementations as well as on-going management of testing capabilities across all of Sephora’s channels and platforms. 

 

Overall, you will:

  • Own the Adobe Analytics and Test & Target platform. 
  • Ensure the ongoing efficacy of Adobe Analytics as an accurate, robust source of truth to measure performance and provide insights into our digital channels including website, mobile app and in-store applications
  • Manage the Team.  You will manage team of product analysts and technical specialists in the product management organization, helping grow them in their capabilities and careers.
  • Evangelize Analytics.  As a key leader in the product organization you will look for opportunities to educate and inspire the larger Sephora organization on the value of analytics and testing and will ensure we make the most of our tools and processes while adding capabilities when and where we need them.
  • Drive Decision Making. Working with stakeholders across our nearly all areas of our business and technology teams, you will understand the key decisions our teams need to make and ensure they are instrumented with the most accurate and comprehensive data to minimize risk and maximize our ability to make the best possible decisions at every level.

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 5-7+ years in website and A/B testing at in a retail, agency, or similar customer-focused business with increasing levels of responsibility
  • 4+ Years’ experience with Adobe Analytics, Test & Target, and/or similar tools and technology aimed at measuring and monitoring client interactions and experiences and the health of a business across multiple channels and KPIs
  • Experience leading a team of analysts with oversight across a broad range of business functions
  • Expertise in working with a product management organization with a large cross-functional roadmap for multiple domains and business owners
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to translate technical terms in to business-friendly language and to communicate effectively to an executive-level audience
