Senior Visual Merchandiser

The Opportunity


The Senior Visual Merchandiser will be in charge of all permanent VM aspects within UK stores. While the main focus will be on our store openings, you will also support existing stores. This consists of managing all permanent visual merchandising solutions to open stores, including: organisation, order, brand communication, productions, installations and budget monitoring. These solutions could be brand or Sephora displays, soft customisation elements as well as furniture. You will be the contact for all brands, UK internal departments and our central merchandising team for all categories and fixtures. You will manage all permanent visual merchandising solutions; creative and technical development, validations, roll out, updates, installations. 


What You’ll Do


Store Openings

  • Global layout construction: manage with category managers and store roll out project team.
  • Brand fixtures: Validate with central team all fixtures including creative concepts and technical aspects.
  • Sephora destination (fixtures designed and produced by Sephora): Order furniture according to central offering and strategy. Prepare VM set up in store with EU guidelines (position, merch plans, VM elements, printings).
  • Coordinate the deliveries and manage installations: Brand soft customisation - follow EU guidelines and adapt to local needs.
  • Sephora collection: Produce and coordinate with central team and local suppliers.
  • Sephora institutional: with the construction team, manage institutional fixture order.
  • Supply chain furniture: Order the small VM element available in central supply chain.
  • Coordinate and installation: Manage global organisation for fixture and VM installation with brand before opening.

General

  • Store communication & operational follow up.
  • Adapt and monitor the correct execution of all EU VM guidelines for all categories.
  • Be the contact for stores for all VM related subjects.

Budget

  • Full management of budget for the country.

Guidelines

  • Adapt central guidelines for the UK market and communicate to all stores.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in store opening management and Visual Merchandising.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Budget management experience
  • Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
