Assistant Demand Planner
The Opportunity
As a key member of the Demand Planning team, you will be responsible for the optimisation of product availability and maximizing sales potential while adhering to budgetary constraints. Your analytical abilities and proactive nature will be instrumental in managing stock flow, mitigating risks, and driving business success.
With a collaborative approach, you will build strong relationships with our Category Management, Finance and Operations teams, as well as key suppliers to ensure the timely flow of stock and efficient stock management across the business.
You Will Also Be Responsible For:
- Updating and managing key forecasting tools, including WSSI and replenishment orders, ensuring stock levels are optimized and aligned with business needs.
- Analyzing sales data and adjusting forecasts for promotions, new product launches, and key events to drive strong sales performance.
- Proactively addressing stock availability issues, fulfillment challenges, and fast-moving items, developing effective action plans.
- Collaborating closely with our Category team to develop strategies for managing slow-moving or problematic stock, while supporting weekly stock orders/ new line forecasting.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure seamless stock flow, timely deliveries, and prompt resolution of supply chain issues.
- Identify and address availability concerns for brands with low fulfillment rates, maintaining optimal stock levels.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess:
- Experience in demand planning, beauty is a bonus
- Proficiency in Excel and other forecasting tools, coupled with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to present insights to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in influencing business performance through effective merchandising strategies.
- The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and deliver results in a dynamic business environment.
