As the captain of our ship, you'll steer the Sephora experience towards uncharted waters of fabulous with your operational savvy and commercial genius.

Reporting directly to our Retail Director, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission to inspire fearlessness. In this key leadership position, you'll be tasked with driving sales and ensuring that operational excellence resonates through every facet of store performance. You’ll set the standard for an unparalleled customer experience, maintaining the highest level of store presentation and product curation Sephora is known for. Compliance will be your guidepost, as you adeptly oversee policies and procedures to maintain the brand’s integrity. Effective budget management will be within your remit, ensuring financial targets are met with the same precision expected from any member of the Sephora team.

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

 

Customer Experience

  • Support and empower the team to ensure we are delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide hands-on floor leadership, actively managing the sales floor environment.
  • Motivate the team to create an engaging and addictive experience for customers
  • Analyze client feedback using tools like Love Meter and CEE, implementing improvement plans.
  • Partner with Training Department to enhance beauty service offerings.

 

Commercials, Operations & Business Management

  • Drive sales growth, inspiring the team to exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Implement retail priorities and strategies to foster commercial success.
  • Manage operational efficiency in collaboration with the Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with Sephora's standards.
  • Maintain a compelling store image through meticulous attention to cleanliness, product stocking, and visual merchandising.
  • Analyze sales data to develop actionable plans for target achievement and business growth.
  • Stay attuned to market trends and competitor activities, using insights for strategic planning.
  • Develop monthly reports detailing business performance and market conditions.
  • Facilitate in-store promotional events or displays that align with marketing initiatives.

 

People Management

  • Inspire team development through daily coaching, recognition, and feedback.
  • Engage in talent recruitment and development with a focus on succession planning.
  • Oversee training initiatives and e-learning through Sephora University for all team members.
  • Conduct monthly performance assessments to maintain exceptional customer service levels.
