Your role at Sephora:
As the VIDEO EDITOR on the Sephora Studios Video team, you will be working on a wide range of internal and external facing videos, such as: inspirational storytelling, educational, corporate communications, events, social media, sizzle reels, etc.

 

Reporting to the Sr Video Editor, you will be supporting video content and delivering high-quality videos that express our company’s mission. In addition, you will: 

  • Collaborate with Sr. Manager and a team of producers on creating the most compelling video solutions
  • Adhere to the Sephora branding guidelines and our department’s workflow
  • Meet deadlines established by our stakeholders, Sr. Manager and producers
  • Demonstrate innovative editing techniques and a desire to bring our videos to a higher level
  • Create motion graphics such as title cards and lower thirds
  • Source music for edits from our music library or 3rd party music vendors 
  • Transfer and archive footage to the video server
  • Input and update metadata in the Digital Asset Management System
  • Demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.

 

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience working on corporate videos and a strong portfolio showcasing your skills
  • Expert in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in video editing, audio mixing, color correction/ grading, composition, motion graphics and typography
  • Great communication skills, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and taking feedback positively
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented self-starter that can juggle multiple projects to accomplish critical goals
  • High-energy, “can do” personality that thrives in a deadline-driven environment
  • Solid, technical knowledge in all phases of post-production: video compression standards, aspect ratios, interlacing issues, and frame rates
  • On top of industry trends and ways to innovate our content and production pipeline
