Your role at Sephora: As the Sr. SAP Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementation project. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Systems, you will be responsible for driving project implementation, business stakeholder management, and partnering with our global teams.


As the Sr. SAP Implementation Manager, you will drive the delivery of the project and ensure all business teams (Finance Supply Chain, Retail, etc) and technical teams are aligned on scope, requirements, and the delivery plan. This will require driving the delivery of key project deliverables within budget and timeline.

 

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including SAP consultants, IT professionals, business analysts, and end users, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders on requirement analysis to gather and analyze requirements for the SAP S/4HANA implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and partner with SAP architects and consultants on solution design and configure the SAP S/4HANA solution to meet the organization's requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and best practices are followed.
  • Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery.
  • Partner and develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, considering the specific requirements of the organization.
  • Ensure that the SAP S/4HANA solution meets quality standards and fulfills the requirements of the organization. Work with QE teams to conduct thorough testing and validation processes as needed.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, maintaining transparency and alignment throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with external SAP vendors, partners, and third-party service providers to ensure deliverables are met according to project requirements and expectations.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end users following the SAP S/4HANA implementation, ensuring a seamless transition and successful adoption of the new system.

 

Experience, skills and abilities required:

  • 10+ years of experience implementing SAP projects in the areas of Finance and Supply Chain
  • Experience managing SAP S/4 HANA implementation in a Retail company
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, from inception through implementation
  • Extensive experience with working with business owners and understanding of business processes (Supply Chain, Inventory and Finance)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana and supporting systems architecture and integrations
  • Extensive experience with stakeholder management, negotiations, problem solving
  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse and cross functional teams 
  • Proven experience in preparing updates, presentations, communications, leading Steering Committee meetings at the executive level
  • Have a Project Risk Management and Mitigation mindset
  • Knowledge of project/demand planning tools with evidence of practical application (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Innotas, Planview, etc.) 
  • Strong communications, written, and analytical skills  
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering  and/or equivalent experience

The annual base salary range for this position is $194,400.00 - $216,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
