Sephora is looking for an experienced Sr Analyst for our marketing analytics modeling team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the MTA and MMM workstreams across all Media and Retention channels, such as Email, Push, Display, Affiliate, Search, Social, etc.  You will also work with our partners to onboard data, data governance, and campaign analysis. You will be a key partner for Sephora to drive its marketing efforts forward.   You will be collaborating with our business partners to ensure the right data and categorizations are included in the models and gather context to inform setup.

 

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with business partners and media partners to understand campaign objectives and structure to set up models appropriately
  • Identify other non-marketing related variables to include in models that will help increase fit
  • Oversee and execute Media Mix and MTA models
  • Interpret and share model output with different stakeholders of varying backgrounds with the appropriate level of detail
  • Create an understanding of what are the incremental drivers of revenue and acquisition
  • Provide direction and oversight for internal data infrastructure needs to support modeling work
  • Manage a team within marketing analytics helping them grow their skillsets and careers

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 2+ years of experience in a modeling role
  • Paid Media / marketing analytics experience is preferred
  • Experience with multi touch attributions models and time series media mix modeling
  • Comfortable performing complex analyses to generate data driven insight and recommendations
  • Exceptional creative problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable with SQL, python or R, and Hadoop/Hive
  • Great attention to detail, with ability to dig deep into details while keeping focus on the primary business question at hand
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to tell the story of campaign performance and to communicate complex concepts in a simple way
  • High sense of integrity and respect for others; experience working with cross functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload without becoming overwhelmed
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to thrive in an environment with rapid change
