Position: Senior Analyst, Business Analytics S@K

 

Your role at Sephora...

As a Senior Analyst, Business Analytics Sephora @ Kohl’s, you will play a critical role in supporting Sephora’s marketing, merchandising, and client loyalty organizations focusing on Sephora @ Kohl’s locations. This person will dive deep into our abundant marketing, merchandising, and sales data to find valuable client insights, drive decision making, and influence business strategy. The successful candidate has strong analytic/programming skills, broad experience with complex business analysis, and a passion for all things beauty. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Business Analytics S@K and has broad exposure, visibility, and impact throughout the organization.

 

  • Analyze large volumes of client data and use it to inform how we define client-centric strategies to grow our business
  • Conduct deep dive analysis & leverage existing analytics work to uncover new insights
  • and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to uncover and explain the drivers of client growth and loyalty
  • Proactively identify gaps and opportunities to grow and enhance client experience
  • Synthesize complex data analytics into easily understood concepts by creating data visualizations and dashboards that will be shared at all levels of management
  • Develop, publish, and optimize dashboards using Tableau/Excel to share with business partners and leadership
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to answer strategic business questions

We would love to hear from you if…

  • 2 - 4+ years of experience in an analytics or data driven role
  • Expert SQL programming skills with an understanding of database capabilities and experience of integrating, structuring, and analyzing large amounts of data from diverse sources.
  • Strong Tableau skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point with ability to craft presentations of key insights developed from analytical work
  • Demonstrated success in analyzing trends, creating reports, and providing actionable data-driven insights
  • Exceptional problem solving and analysis skills
  • Experience with APT Test & Learn is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills – able to articulate findings that are not always straightforward or intuitive
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and handle multiple projects
