Your Role at Sephora:

Ready for a career glow up? As a Brand Marketing Manager, Makeup, you’ll be responsible for establishing marketing plans for Sephora brand partners that drive sales and keep Sephora competitive and beloved by clients. The work you do will impact beauty, as you partner with brands to optimize programs using Sephora’s marketing levers and build strategies that deliver mutual growth. You’ll be part of a team that’s united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about brand growth, client engagement, and innovative marketing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the main marketing contact and trusted advisor for 20+ makeup brand partners, building strong relationships and deep knowledge of their business priorities, products, and goals.
  • Guide senior brand marketing leaders on both strategic and tactical opportunities to help their brands win at Sephora.
  • Develop marketing recommendations across sampling, social media, paid media, and consumer messaging to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Advise select brands with limited marketing resources on broader strategy and the most effective use of their investments, both within Sephora and beyond.
  • Build collaborative marketing programs that secure brand participation in key Sephora initiatives and support category growth.
  • Analyze and report on ROI for Sephora and brand marketing programs, using data to make recommendations that create win-win outcomes.
  • Manage Beauty Insider sampling and promotional plans, identifying ways to optimize brand investment while meeting Sephora’s business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for new co-op marketing programs and partnerships, and help build the business case for innovative ideas.
  • Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, creative, store marketing, store education, loyalty, and analytics teams in a highly matrixed organization.
  • This is an individual contributor role but you will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or brand management; agency, retail, and/or beauty industry experience preferred.
  • Strong background in digital, social media, and non-traditional marketing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternative solutions.
  • Honed presentation skills and confidence presenting a point of view in multiple settings, including leadership forums.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively across highly cross-functional teams.
  • A positive, flexible, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and passion for Sephora, its clients, and its marketing programs.

What You’ll Get: 

The annual base salary range for this position is $117,895.00 - $131,765.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of five days.
