Your role at Sephora:

As the HR Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting with the development and maintenance of HR reporting and dashboards for the organization. Reporting to the Manager of People Analytics & Reporting, you will contribute to HR initiatives by performing people-related data analyses, highlighting trends, and delivering insights to guide decision making. You will help evolve Sephora’s people analytics capabilities. In addition, you will:

 

  • Manage the maintenance, design, development, testing, and deployment of People/HR reporting to support the business
  • Analyze business requirements and capabilities for advanced data and reports
  • Provide reporting and analytical support to the business and global organization, including ad-hoc requests and operational reporting
  • Support with data integrity and accuracy by identifying data issues through reporting and/or building audit reports for other HR functions to leverage
  • Submit company HR data to the following agencies, including, but not limited to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), US Census, California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), Bureau of Labor Statistics, and other local and federal government agencies
  • Participate in various HR special projects requiring HR data extracts, data mining, analysis, and/or visualizing data
  • Educate and promote self-service reporting functionality to end users by utilizing various communication and training methodologies
  • Recommend process improvements through more effective use of HR applications for reporting

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in HR reporting, or data analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, economics, mathematics or other quantitative field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience identifying problems and/or trends using quantitative and qualitative analytical strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including advanced Excel skills and demonstrated ability of analyzing and presenting data
  • Experience using SQL and Tableau is a plus
  • Exposure to people/payroll data or HR Systems, such as SuccessFactors or Dayforce is ideal
  • Detail oriented with a passion for data integrity and accuracy
  • Interpersonal and client service skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
