The Opportunity:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for consolidating & reporting for Sephora North America during close, internal forecast, budget/forecast periods, and longrange Strategic Planning. Some of the key deliverables include producing month end close analysis, managing mid-month internal forecast, producing content related to full year Budget and forecasting cycles, ownership of the Finance calendar, and frequent ad hoc analysis. The Manager excels in establishing effective working relationships with business partners in Canada and the US. The Manager has a strong passion for quantitative analysis, continuous improvement (challenging the status quo of existing processes), and story-telling using the numbers.
This position reports to the Senior Finance Director (Key Planning) and will support:

Consolidation and reporting for Sephora North America during key financial periods (e.g., close, forecasting, budgeting).

Producing critical analyses, such as:

Month-end close analysis.

Mid-month internal forecasts.

Full-year budget and forecast cycles.

Managing and owning the Finance calendar.

Supporting tasks like monthly P&L reporting and frequent ad hoc analyses.

Building strong working relationships with partners across Canada and the U.S.

Fostering continuous improvement and storytelling through numbers.
We'd love to hear from you if you have...
- 5+ Years Business Analytics or Financial Planning & Analysis
- 5+ Years Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and monthly close activities
- Superior Excel financial modeling skills and Financial Systems, SAP and Anaplan are a plus
- Intermediate accounting knowledge required
- Requires a self-starter, ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
- Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational and task management skills
- Ability to partner cross functionally with all levels of the organization
- Thrives on an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented
- Proven ability to interpret and synthesize data into intelligent business decisions
The annual base salary range for this position is $132,005.00 - $147,535.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
