The Opportunity:
The MarTech team focuses on re-imagining workflow, process, and design with AI and technology for Sephora teams and brands. We source and enable process-enhancing tools, partnering with Ops Transformation to implement new ways of working for iconic marketing delivery. We pilot innovative solutions iteratively, drive paths to scale, and determine development strategies. We are intentional about adding tech to our ecosystem, considering solutions within our current MarTech stack.
Your role at Sephora...
As Creative Technology Manager, you are pivotal in driving and implementing the technical integrations, enhancements, and releases of advanced technologies & systems to enrich iconic marketing. You’ll be our in-house technical expert, with the ability to execute based on product requirement inputs and/or support internal Sephora tech, and/or assess external software vendors or dev. talent. You are responsible for the entire product lifecycle from gathering requirements to delivery of critical documentation (Lucid workflow charts, How-tos, dynamic Tango user guides) used for training, and support.
Responsibilities:
- Driving & executing the technical discovery (across marketing and beyond) and technical implementation for prioritized initiatives
- Develop API, iPaas integrations between new-new systems and/or current technologies within our MarTech stack e.g Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Zeroheight, Smartsheet
- Lead the rapid prototyping of ideas, POCs, and testing with external technologies; define and gather requirements, manage sprints, and govern vendor-based development when outsourcing tools
- Drive new opportunities for content generation and e iciency gains through researching, evaluating, building use cases, and recommending AI-powered solutions to streamline creative processes and automate repetitive tasks
- Utilizing data and other systems to define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of technologies and e iciencies, analyze creative performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions
- Develop, document, and deliver creative tech guidelines, best practices, and training programs to ensure consistency across digital experiences and proficiency in creative technologies and workflows
We're excited about you if you have:
- 5-7 years of experience in a marketing technology, digital innovation, or interactive development role, preferably within retail, consumer products, or digital agency environments.
- 3-5 years of proficiency in front-end development (HTML, Databricks, Python, CSS, JavaScript)
- 3-5 years of experience supporting technical workflow development and change management
Competencies:
- Expert in software integrations, and cloud platforms (APIs, iPaaS, Microsoft Azure, Akamai)
- Deep understanding of marketing workflow technology landscape with the ability to connect creative use-cases with internal and external system solutions
- Experience using marketing technologies (e.g. Monday.com, Ziflow, Crosscap, Salesforce, Smartsheet)
- Strong experience with AI tools & models (Sora, MidJourney, Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) and how to leverage for creative optimizations
- Strong understanding of network security and architecture including private cluster management and cyber cloud security best practices and principles
- Extensive experience with program & sprint management tools (Monday.com, Confluence, Jira)
- Expert in Agile methodologies and technical project management
- Solution oriented; able to think critically and to provide thoughtful and innovate solutions to proactively address issues and problems as they arise
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, organizational and planning skills
- Ability to influence, connect, and collaborate with a variety of groups and personalities, both technical and not technical, at all levels of the organization
- The successful candidate is adept at building relationships cross-functionally and gaining alignment with our business partners
This position reports to the Sr Manager, Marketing & Creative Technology and does not have any direct reports.
The annual base salary range for this position is $132,005.00 - $147,535.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
