Sephora is looking for a Manager, Product Management, Store Digital Experience to help define the vision and execution of our store digital and omni experience strategies.  You will lead the product domain to deliver an engaging, easy and personalized store experience for clients and Beauty Advisors.  You will oversee a small team of product managers to drive product roadmap development, project scoping and implementation within a complex business and technical environment.   


With your passion for digital experiences, client focus, data and experience in people leadership, your role will be highly visible across Sephora, including Store Experience, Marketing, Business Operations, Data Analytics, Product Management, Engineering, and UX teams.  This position has a high level of exposure throughout the digital organization so the candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and influence with the ability to communicate a clear product vision to both business and technical partners.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Oversee a small team of product managers with a supportive, positive, coaching based approach.
  • Responsible for leading the product vision for Agile Development Teams (aka PODs) that enable store digital and omni experience initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our Product, Technology and Business partners to create and maintain a 2-3 year Store Digital Experience roadmap.
  • Define success KPI metrics and continually measure progress across domains.
  • Assist your team with identifying and prioritizing business requests and opportunities to drive sales conversion and Beauty Advisor productivity. 
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to balance competing interests and needs across the organization to arrive at a clear vision, communicating effectively and aligning various partners along the way.
  • Pro-actively monitor industry trends in omni experiences including new capabilities, technology, vendors and tools. 
  • Drive continual innovation and improvements to inform product roadmap with new ideas based on ongoing user research (qualitative & quantitative), store feedback, market/competitive analysis, and product/feature performance.
  • Create, document, implement & maintain processes where needed to achieve desired strategies, and support Sephora Tech’s agile transformation.

We would love to hear from you if…

  • 4+ years of experience effectively managing and developing people in product/tech org
  • 7+ years in B2C product development related roles, with a successful history of launching highly effective products. 
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking and practical organizational planning skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills with ability to inspire and motivate others across the company.
  • Deep understanding of the Sephora client, and an ability to identify and articulate opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs, and in managing diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to meet critical deadlines while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and vendor partners.
  • Self-sufficient with ability to operate effectively without close supervision. 
  • Demonstrates experience with agile sprint development cycle and release process.
  • Comfortable navigating analytics platforms like Adobe and Tableau.
  • Data-driven decision making and experience conducting and interpreting quantitative user research.
  • Experience with native Android and iOS applications.
  • Familiar with roadmap planning tools like Aha! and JIRA Align.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline required.
