Introduced in 2021 with now more than 1,100+ locations, Sephora at Kohl’s is making prestige beauty more accessible to millions of shoppers. Clients can explore the signature Sephora experience within all Kohl’s locations and discover expertly curated assortments of prestige makeup, skincare, hair and fragrance brands. The Sephora at Kohl’s merchandising team is responsible for bringing this experience to life by tailoring and executing the Sephora strategies within the Kohl’s environment.

 

Your role at Sephora:
As an Assistant Merchant for Sephora at Kohl’s, you will report into the (Sr) Merchant and: 

  • Manage brand and multi branded assortments for over 1,1100+ Sephora at Kohl’s locations, including visual merchandising and timelines
  • Manage relationships for over X brands in partnership with your Manager
  • Serve as the conduit between Kohl’s, Sephora Partners and Brands
  • Assist Manager in execution of world and brand strategies for Sephora at Kohl’s environment
  • Communicate consistently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Prepare reports and assist in analyzing the business for sales driving opportunities
  • Work with internal & external cross functional partners to execute product launches and animation strategies
  • Ownership of administrative tasks inclusive but not limited to scheduling, gratis & comp management, meeting setup etc…

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 2+ years retail buying or account management experience at a major retailer
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills with comfort presenting to large groups
  • Problem solving and analytical skills, working well within ambiguity and navigating a complex business
  • An ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast pace, complex environment
  • A strong numbers-aptitude and analytical skills with a drive for results
  • Strong attention to details
  • Experience with Project Management a plus…
  • A positive and collaborative attitude
  • Excellent technical skills – MS Office (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint); merchant systems

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,000.00 - $89,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
