In light of the opening of a new Regional Distribution Center in the United States, Sephora Collection is recruiting a Logistics & Transport Coordinator to join the North American RDC Logistics team. Your responsibilities will range from receiving supervision to outbound planning, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance throughout the logistics process.

 

Please note there will be another Logistics & Transport Coordinator with you at the RDC, enabling a more precise dispatch of the responsibilities listed below and back-up when necessary.

 

Responsibilities

 

  1. Receiving Supervision:
    1. Collaborate with Inbound Transport 3PL for efficient receiving operations incl. inbound planning monitoring
    2. Monitor and ensure the quality of received goods.
    3. Address the need for additional operations, such as relabeling, when required.
  2. Logistics Master Data Reporting Monitoring
    1. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data reporting in collaboration with Sephora Collection Master data team
  3. Inventory Management:
    1. Maintain continuous alignment between Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP.
    2. Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies defined by Central teams to optimize stock.
  4. Outbound Shipments Supervision:
    1. Verify the coherence of the various elements and files transmitted to the service provider and internal departments  
    2. Supervise outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries incl. outbound planning monitoring
  5. Customs Information Validation for Canada shipments:
    1. Verify and validate customs information to ensure compliance.
    2. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any customs-related challenges.
  6. Continuous Improvement Advocate:
    1. Proactively identify and implement enhancements in transport and logistics operations.
    2. Stay abreast of industry trends and leverage technology to drive ongoing process improvements.
  7. Logistics claims management with Warehouse 3PL
    1. Proficiently manage logistics up to resolution, ensuring swift and effective solutions
    2. Implement preventive measures to minimize future claim occurrences and enhance overall logistics efficiency
  8. Exception Management:
    1. Proactively identify and address exceptions in the logistics process.
    2. Implement corrective measures to enhance operational efficiency.

  • 6/7 years of experience within a Logistics & Transportation organization in the United States
  • Customs requirements knowledge would be a plus
  • Recognized for your qualities of rigor and organization and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, versatility, and responsiveness.
  • Understanding of customer needs and sensitivity to the cosmetics sector.
  • Proficiency in Data Visualization and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik, Looker, etc.) and Microsoft tools (Excel, Power point)
  • Knowledge of WMS, ERP and APS/forecasting tools.

 

 

 

The target hourly pay for this position is $24.00 - $30.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which include comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
