Your role at Sephora…
The Asset Protection Supervisor is based within a Sephora Distribution Center environment and is responsible for and leading a team of AP Investigators with a focus on building shrink reduction. The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for assisting in hiring, onboarding, training and the continuous development of Asset Protection Investigators within the facility as well as overseeing third-party contracted security personnel.

Essential Functions of Job:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Loss Prevention department.
  • Drive an intense focus on shrink reduction through training, investigations, physical security and controls.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve internal/external theft or fraudulent incidents within the Distribution Centers.
  • Conduct investigative interviews in alignment to Sephora policies and procedures.
  • Understand and maintain strict compliance with the law and Sephora policies concerning investigations, apprehensions, search and seizure and the preservation of evidence.
  • Develop and support a Loss Prevention awareness culture through partnerships, ongoing communication, and training.
  • Maintain and monitor all physical security controls including and not limited to key/core control, card access, alarm and CCTV systems.
  • Participate in the inventory process as well as any applicable shrink reduction plans.
  • Represent company concerning any case, criminal or civil wherein the company is a party in interest.
  • Perform checklists and audits and communicate findings with leadership.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Ability to make appropriate quick decisions in potentially stressful situations.
  • Effectively perform job functions while working independently.
  • Proficient computer skills including loss prevention applications, MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and inventory systems.
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong management/leadership skills necessary to develop professional relationships with Operations, HR and LLPI teams.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule per business and operational needs.
  • Availability to respond to alarm calls & facility emergencies.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Non-exempt Loss Prevention Investigators.
  • Indirect supervision of contracted security guards.


Working Conditions:

  • Moderate but varying temperature and humidity in office and warehouse environments
  • Work is performed inside and outside the property with exposure to inclement weather.
  • Regularly exposed to cold, heat, dust, pollen, odors, oil, fumes and noise.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Loss Prevention experience, preferably within a distribution center environment. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience with CCTV, alarm and card access systems preferred.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski certification or Reid certification preferred.
  • Must be able to stand/walk the production floor for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

The annual base salary range for this position is $75,140.00 - $83,980.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
