Sephora heavily invests in the training and development of our employees—both in job training/product knowledge and in career development. In our stores, every shift begins with a “Daily Dose” of training and every single employee has a tailored development plan to help them get to the next step in their career. For corporate teams, we plan development weeks several times a year called “Careerfest” to encourage employees to take a free class provided by Sephora University or to set aside time for their personal development. 


We are a Sephora family and we stand together in times of need. Sephora Stands Together provides short-term assistance to employees facing financial hardship caused by natural disaster, family emergency, and other unexpected events. Employees can donate to this fund (or any charity of their choice) and the company will match the donation dollar for dollar, up to $5,000 per year.


Sephora's robust medical plans include adoption support, fertility benefits, and family leave not only for new moms, but for fathers and domestic partners as well. Each floor at Sephora is equipped with a Mother's Room for new moms, and we provide each new mom a hospital-grade nursing pump. We also have an employee affinity group for all working parents to provide additional resources to our employees caring for children.

Sephora is redefining the standard pay cycle, by offering on-demand and early pay for select employees. Dayforce Wallet provides Retail and Distribution Center hourly employees access to their earned wages when they need it. These employees no longer need to wait until the regular payday and can access 80% of their pay earned via Regular hours, Overtime, Shift Premiums, PTO, Floating Holidays, Holiday Pay, Sick Pay, and Bereavement.
