MarTech and Merchandising Solutions Manager

SEPHORA Asia is looking for a marketing technology and merchandising solution manager. The successful solution manager is responsible for maintaining, augmenting and enhancing the solution on merchandising areas for Sephora Asia business across Greater China, South Korea and Southeast Asia. He/she should also have broad-based knowledge in merchandising solution on product/assortment/promotion/animation management related solution. With rich experience on Marketing Tech and Merchandising solution around loyalty and CRM tool like Salesforce, product and space management tool like JDA, PLM and Promotion management tool; we are looking for a highly motivated strategic thinker and an excellent collaborator who can lead the solutions across Asia and drive transformation with cutting-edge technologies in a high-paced environment.

 

POSITION SUMMARY
This position requires understanding business processes & requirement & pain point in the merchandising and CRM department. The candidate should be familiar with best business processes in the designated area and was involved in multiple full cycle implementations. As the Martech & Merchandising Solution Manager, he/she will disseminate knowledge of the global template to the local site teams across all regions. Strong communications skills and ability to function in a multinational organization working effectively with the global center of excellence team,regional solution teams and country IT team is required.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Participate and contribute to the successful completion of all deliverables associated with the merchandising management process, eg. Business Process Procedures, working with corporate IT team or vendor to design best practice solutions, validate the solution while upholding high quality control. This also includes documenting design solutions, and developing functional specifications for interfaces, conversions, and enhancements. 
  • Have knowledge in the required functional domain to solve complex technical issues and business requirements. Address post-go live issues escalated by users, and providing end user production support. Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations & future technology development for their respective process areas or functional areas.
  • Supports business process owner in efforts to manage business stakeholders and work closely with delivery managers to complete the deliverables on time.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or other relevant fields 
  • Over 6 years on Merchandizing solution experience required working in the appropriate business process with a good understanding of the business /systems concepts 
  • Rich experience on solution delivery with CRM system, JDA, PLM, Brand portal, Promotion management tool will be preferred 
  • Solid understanding of IT group operating model, including enterprise architecture, development lifecycle, tools, agile methodology, methods and processes
  • Experience designing onshore/offshore frameworks and managing offshore development and testing suppliers
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin will be a plus in collaborating with China-based stakeholders 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams in a global environment.
