Regional Brand & Community Assistant Manager (Contract)

The Brand & Community team leads all regional strategies for Public Relations, Influ-encer Engagement and Social Media including Instagram & TikTok. It’s a team of communications & content experts who truly work interdependently. Whether it’s driving Sephora branding campaigns across the region, building the strategic PR framework for launching exclusive brands or elevating Sephora’s social media ac-counts to feature engaging, educative content, the team regularly works across mul-tiple regional and country teams
 

As Assistant Manager, Brand & Community, you will be responsible for leading all regional brand-building, social media and integrated communication strategies. You will work in tandem with multiple internal stakeholders at the regional as well as local team levels. You will also be the key liaison with Sephora brand partners on all PR launch plans. Reporting to the Managing Director of South East Asia, you will directly lead a team of communication and social media experts to optimise Sephora brand awareness using all PR & communication levers.

  • Identifying & leading key big branding bets for the year that can be activated through social content & PR outreach
  • Leading quarterly creative brainstorms with Regional Creative, Content & Country Marketing Managers to facilitate the bi-annual planning of Sephora’s Press Day (PR event) 
  • Overseeing your team’s day to day planning of all Exclusive Brand Partners’ PR, influencer & social initiatives by working closely with the brands, Category Management team and Country marketing teams
  • Facilitating monthly catch ups with the Country Marketing teams to align on PR opportunities per market
  • Ensuring project timelines as well as PR report submissions are maintained across key campaigns through management of your team

 

We would love to hear from you if you possess…

 

  • Degree in relevant discipline (Marketing, mass communication, PR & Advertising or Business)
  • At least 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in retail industry. 
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles, with strong copy/ content writing skills. 
  • Proven project management skills, strong administration and organizational skills.
  • Strong strategic communication experience. 
  • Confidence with all Microsoft Office packages, basics designing skills using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop or relevant software is an advantage. Working knowledge of Trello is a plus. 
  • Personable, presentable, articulate and an independent worker. An excellent networker. 
  • Eagerness to contribute new ideas and be up to date with the latest beauty trends 
  • Quick-thinking and adaptive in a high-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility with extended hours during certain timeperiods
