Senior Manager, Supply Chain Excellence

The opportunity:

The Supply Chain Excellence Senior Manager, for our Sephora South East Asia, Korea and Oceania region, is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the S&OP process for the region, our Supplier Performance & brand collaboration, and our supply chain performance & analytics within our omni business in the region.


This position plays a critical role in ensuring seamless collaboration between various regional departments and countries, optimizing our different Supply Chain KPI (inventory & Cash, On shelf Availability, costs, etc), enhancing brand collaboration, participating in implementing new projects as Center of Excellence for the region and driving overall business performance.

 

Reporting to our Regional Supply Chain Director, the Supply Chain Excellence Senior Manager will manage a team of 3-4 people to lead regional S&OP, and ensure efficient process & SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) in the region, drive our Supply Chain brand collaboration & performance with our suppliers (Supply Chain contracts conditions, scorecards, projects, claims, returns) and drive our Supply Chain performance & analytics across all countries.


He/she will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, will have active participation in our projects (as Center of Excellence) and will be a key leader to achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities: 
S&OP process:

  • Develop and lead the regional S&OP strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives and growth targets; manage the risks.

  • Inventory management: in close cooperation with planning managers & finance: budget, Open to Buy, health of stock, returns, continuous improvement, etc

  • Supplier Performance & Brand collaboration: Develop and nurture partnerships with our brands to enhance collaboration, supplier performance, Supply Chain contract terms, data sharing, etc

 

Performance management and Center of Excellence: 

  • Monitor and Analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in Supply Chain (across planning and logistics) and growth opportunities.

  • Implement process enhancements to streamline Supply Chain workflows and increase overall end to end efficiency

  • Develop a Center of Excellence in planning for our region and ensure Center of Excellence process, roles & responsibilities in other Supply Chain departments; participate actively in projects; provide training and support in the region

 

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and develop a team of 3-4 Supply Chain professionals (Assistant managers & executives), providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance. Create a high-performing team culture that emphasizes collaboration, efficiency, innovation, and continuous learning. 


Stakeholder management:

  • Proactively seek and leverage meaningful and efficient relationship with different stakeholders: internal stakeholders (including executive leadership, merchandising, finance, other supply chain departments / countries), as well as external stakeholders (such as brands, external partners).

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management or Supply Chain.

  • Proven track record of leadership and success in S&OP, supply chain, or related roles within the retail industry or FMCG. (10+ years of experience)

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in relevant S&OP software and ERP systems (SAP as preferred option).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in a dynamic, complex and volatile environment

  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
