The opportunity:
As the Regional Assistant Manager, Category Activation, your role is a key partner to Sephora brand partners for all their in-store execution and fixture displays.
This role will be reporting to the Regional Senior Manager, Category Activation. You will support in establishing regional visual merchandising plans and best practices to ensure consistency and standardization across our markets, and delivering merchandising initiatives in category or brand distortion based on category goals.
Role Objectives:

Develop and execute regional visual merchandising strategy to delight customers and optimise revenue from our assortment.

Partner with Space Planners to create the best store experiences for Sephora customers with clear store zoning and inspiring displays that can increase the sales whilst communicating about our brand ethos.

Work closely with the Category Managers in terms of assortment curation and visual displays, resulting in optimal customer assortment and choice while also delivering the highest absolute profit per meter.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of merchandising projects against category goals, and propose creative solutions to drive awareness and impact on category sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising Management & Execution

Support Category Managers and Space Planners in managing brand fixture updates as well as planogram updates; from accurate fixture forecast to timely & complete execution based on calendar.

Guide country visual merchandising team and assigned vendor on validation of brands’ design proposal as well as ensure technical specifications are in adherence to Sephora guidelines.

Responsible for brands merchandising fixture and merchandising for new stores and seasonable updates across the region (SEA, Oceania, South Korea and any future expansion in the region.

Work with brands on fixture orders for new store opening in the region.

Disseminate fixture quotations to respective country for their respective market budget tracking and processing.

Review with country visual merchandising team to identify key in-store activation spaces.

o Manage the execution of in-store activation with the country visual merchandising team according to set objectives.

o Implement best practices and process to guide brands on in-store activation to ensure optimal and successful activation launch across the markets. To also liaise with brands to ensure timely artwork submission for production by market.

Conduct regular evaluation of vendor work execution & quality of implementation in store.

When necessary, review, establish, recommend, and support the re-negotiating of external vendors for VM fixture and installation, ensuring best possible quotation for Sephora and Brand Partners.
Category Activation Projects

Support Regional Senior Manager, Category Activation in developing and executing of merchandising projects in partnership with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Conceptualize and develop new merchandising ideas / concepts in line with consumer and market trends.

Establish processes and standards for best in class execution across markets to ensure consistency and alignment and managing the cost and budget within.

Participate in omni-channel development in VM enhancements of digital is required, technology in the VM design is a significant part of the innovation of retail experiences.
Leadership

Market visit and partner closely with country visual merchandising team to enhance Sephora merchandising & animation standardization.
Requirements:

Possess at least 4 years’ experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably from the Beauty/Retail/FMCG industry.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different partners across the business

Self-starter, hands-on, enthusiastic, keen to learn, with a passion for self-development

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and deal with multiple priorities.
