Manager, Sephora University Digital & Social Learning

 

Sephora University (SU) is looking to hire an Education Partner to be responsible for Digital & Social Learning to support Sephora’s retail business. They will lead all aspects of digital and social learning across SEA, Oceania & India and develop learning programs to support Brand Education.

 

The mission SU Education Partner for Digital & Social Learning is to manage and optimise all SU’s learning systems and platforms relating to digital learning and brand education. Maintain strong relationships with Sephora Brand Partners to ensure brands deliver on Sephora SEA, Oceania, and India’s training needs. This person will be the key brand contact for Sephora University SEA, Oceania and India and act as the lead for all brand education initiatives.

  • Managing and optimizing SU learning systems and platforms to support the company’s strategic goals and standards. Providing technical training and support to Sephora’s internal and external communities 
  • Leading all digital/social learning and brand education related projects for SU to ensure consistency and quality 
  • Maintaining SU learning records, evaluating, analysing and interpreting data
  • Developing and overseeing SU pathways and programs relating to brand education (including Sephora Collection) 
  • Fostering brand education partnerships to achieve Sephora’s business objectives
  • Identifying and developing strategies to address, both present and future training needs for SU brand education (including Sephora Collection)
  • Proactively partner with external and internal communities at a global, regional, and country level to achieve strategic goals
  • Engaging Sephora’s retail community through SU’s social learning initiatives. Create and collaborate with key stakeholders to plan and develop campaigns and content for SU SEA Oceania & India’s social media accounts
  • Representing SU during market week as needed to share training insights with brands and develop collaborative partnerships with top brands to drive training initiatives
  • Developing brand education partner learning and development skills, to meet needs of Sephora SEA, Oceania & India
  • Staying abreast of country brand education requirements to bridge skills and knowledge gaps as needed
  • Collaborating with SU Education Partner – Beauty to ensure brands are up to date on Sephora’s beauty category skills, services and strategize opportunities to strengthen partnerships
  • Collaborating with SU Education Partner – Business to ensure brands can effectively adopt Sephora’s Client Service Model (Celebrate Beauty) as part of brand education initiatives and understand Sephora’s Management & Leadership competencies

 

We would love to hear from you if you are/have…

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a digital learning role ideally in a retail or multi-branded environment
  • Instructional design and e-learning development experience required
  • Knowledge of adult learning pedagogies and instructional design principles a must
  • Experience with social media, especially social learning an advantage
  • Stakeholder/relationship management experience preferred. Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Project management experience preferred. Ability to plan, manage, balance and prioritize work essential
  • Entrepreneurial with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous stakeholders
  • Hands-on and solution-oriented with the ability to manage and lead others to do the same
  • Client and commercial centric mind set
  • Experience working as part of a remote team beneficial
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business KPIs through learning
  • The ability to listen and understand the needs of the customer, translating those needs into educational focuses
  • Sound computer skills (Office 360)
  • The ability to travel internationally up to 20% for business purposes
