Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

Assistant Manager, Regional Ecommerce Data Analyst

 

Sephora has a strategic advantage of owning all customer data at an omni-channel level: Using 1st party data and tech as enablers, the team constantly unlocks new opportunities and ideas to engage and delight customers in their omni-channel customer journey, through the digital touchpoints (Mobile App, Digital Channels). The Regional Digital Commerce Analyst sits in the Regional Digital Commerce Team and reports directly to the Director, Growth.

  • Being responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of different initiatives (ranging from onsite placements to commercial campaigns to partnerships) and identifying growth opportunities led by data analytics 
  • Working closely with the functional centers of excellence within the Regional Digital Team (Digital Channels, Onsite, Commercial and eCommerce) and our markets to provide actionable insights to grow the Digital Commerce KPIs
  • Having a holistic understanding of the 360 digital journey of customers (from digital channels, onsite, purchase behavior) and leveraging data to help the teams better optimize towards maximizing omnichannel Sales leveraging our various digital touchpoints

 

Some of the Key Strategic Projects that you will be responsible for:

  • Building a holistic measurement framework for campaigns: Build a 360 view of measuring campaign performance from reach (traffic), engagement (opens, clicks) and conversions (revenue, shop rate) for markets to take optimisation actions for improving baseline revenue & sale campaign performance. 
  • Building ad hoc analytics to evaluate BAU initiatives effectiveness like Gift Cards, Click & Collect, Partnerships etc  & identify growth opportunities using data insights (customer insights, brand insights, customer behavior etc) 
  • Building a 360 framework for evaluating & tracking key brand performance and effectiveness on digital commerce with an objective of growing key brands’ sales on digital. 
  • Constantly evaluate the incrementality driven by performance marketing spends and hypothesize the mix of spends in the different platforms/campaign types to maximize performance marketing goals. 
  • Testing & Learning with markets & establish golden practices to grow campaigns’ effectiveness on Digital channels: test & iterate on audiences, time of sends, messaging etc, and leverage data & AI tools to deliver personalized experience on scale on these channels. 
  • Unlocking new opportunities for the digital channels with additional data integrations - GA4 audiences, omni measurement, 1st party data enrichment etc

 

We would love to hear from you if are/have…

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence/data analytics in tech/Ecommerce or a dynamic environment
  • Excellent technical skills in SQL, data visualization tools (eg: Domo) and Excel, Python knowledge is a plus
  • Experience working with large and multiple datasets (eg: Google Analytics for web and app tracking, sales data for transaction information) 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide strategic insights 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of leveraging data to drive business decisions
