Assistant Manager, Marketing (Campaigns & Retail)

Sephora Singapore is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to lead the development and execution of our priority push campaigns, commercial campaigns, retail marketing initiatives, and trade marketing strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with robust project management skills and a passion for the beauty industry. The Assistant Manager will take ownership of marketing projects, manage key stakeholders, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of campaigns that drive brand growth and enhance customer engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Omni & Integrated Marketing Campaigns
  • Collaborate with senior marketing executives to execute strategic campaign touchpoints for in-store events and promotional marketing.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans, ensuring alignment across all Sephora-owned channels, including e-commerce and retail stores.
  • Oversee the seamless integration and execution of campaigns, coordinating closely with onsite management and retail operations.
  • Manage the procurement of gifts with purchase (GWP), from ideation to distribution.
  • Conduct post-mortem analysis to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
  • Retail Marketing
  • Direct retail marketing campaigns that align with overall brand strategies and business objectives.
  • Enhance customer engagement through meticulous management of retail touchpoints and innovative in-store marketing solutions.
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships with malls and brands to develop engaging in-store promotions and events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with mall management and other retail partners to secure marketing support and drive traffic to stores.
  • Develop targeted marketing strategies for the Sephora ION Orchard flagship store, positioning it as a leader in innovation and customer experience, distinctly differentiated from other locations.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of retail marketing campaigns and promotions to assess effectiveness and ROI.

 

  • Trade Marketing:
  • Drive strategic collaborations and partnerships with brands to enhance product offerings and promotional activities.
  • Work closely with brands to align marketing efforts, ensuring that collaborations effectively support both Sephora’s and partners’ strategic goals.
  • Develop and execute co-marketing strategies with key brands to maximize brand visibility and sales performance across channels.
  • Analyse market trends and consumer insights to tailor partnership strategies that resonate with target demographics.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Senior Marketing executive and Trade Marketing executive.
    • Streamline processes to remove operational barriers, enhancing team efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
    • Foster professional development and ensure high performance and productivity within the team.
    • Evaluate team performance regularly and provide feedback and support to enhance skills and capabilities.
