Senior Executive,  Treasury

Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

 

The Opportunity

 

The Senior Executive, Treasury is a hands-on operational role responsible for executing daily treasury activities with accuracy, discipline, and strong governance. This role supports regional and global treasury operations, ensuring cash visibility, reconciliations, forecast execution, and controls are delivered reliably and on time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Positioning & Liquidity
    • Prepare and maintain daily and weekly cash positions
    • Ensure timely and accurate cash visibility to support funding and payments
  • Bank Statements & Reconciliations
    • Manage bank statement receipt and integrations
    • Perform daily / weekly bank reconciliations
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
    • Maintain high treasury data quality
  • Cash Forecast Execution
    • Execute regional cash forecast uploads into treasury systems
    • Validate completeness and accuracy of country inputs
    • Support continuous improvement of forecast reliability
  • Intercompany Cash Operations
    • Monitor intercompany cash flows and balances
    • Resolve breaks and follow up with SSC and local teams
    • Ensure clean, on-time intercompany settlements
  • AP / AR & Working Capital Support
    • Work with SSC and local teams on AP and AR follow-ups
    • Lead initiatives to improve cash collection, payment discipline, and working capital
  • Treasury Controls & Governance
    • Maintain treasury documentation, controls, and audit trails
    • Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies
    • Support internal and external audits
  • Systems & E-Banking Operations
    • Support treasury and e-banking systems in daily operations
    • Assist with user access, controls, and system-related issues
    • Ensure secure and compliant system usage
  • Stakeholder Coordination
    • Act as an operational treasury contact for:
      • SSC
      • Local Finance Teams
      • Banks
      • Legal and external platforms
    • Escalate issues clearly and timely when required

 

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in treasury operations, accounting, SSC, or banking operations
  • Strong understanding of cash management, reconciliations, and financial controls
  • High attention to detail and strong execution discipline
  • Comfortable working with systems, data, and deadlines
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Systems & Tools Exposure (Preferred)
    • Experience with SAP (finance, accounting, or cash-related modules)
    • Experience with Kyriba or other Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
    • Experience with Sapphire or similar internal approval / payment workflow tools
    • Exposure to bank portals and e-banking platforms
    • Hands-on experience with the above tools is a strong advantage. Candidates without direct exposure but with strong operational fundamentals and system aptitude will also be considered.
