QA Engineer

Sephora South East Asia seeks to hire a QA Engineer for its Engineering team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for providing testing support to our SDLC lifecycle to improve the quality of our products.
Reporting to the Assistant QA Manager, you will define and execute test cases, review tests around critical flows to automate them to continuously improve the quality of our products.
This position is critical for us and we seek an experienced QA engineer who can work as a team player and participate in all SCRUM related activities, and deliver high quality work within defined timelines. 

Sephora SEA’s Engineering team is one of the few standalone engineering teams within LVMH, and thus this represents a unique entry point into a world leading luxury group which is increasingly investing in di gital and ecommerce. He or she has likely worked in ecommerce before. He or she will be excited by the opportunity to innovate and be part of an emerging omnichannel leader, and
will be flexible in working style and mindset.

  • Developing test cases for upcoming features across unit, integration, and acceptance layers
  • Initiating manual execution of test cases and collaborate with Product team for preparation of UAT sheets
  • Working towards ensuring that new features and bug fixes are rolled out with minimal errors within defined timelines
  • Writing and maintaining functional automation scripts using Appium and Selenium. 
  • Learning and implementing new tools and technologies whenever required for improving the quality

 

We would love to hear from you if you have…

  • 2+ years of experience as QA Engineer 
  • Strong testing fundamentals and knowledge of SDLC and STLC flows
  • Experience in Web testing, Mobile Apps testing (Android and iOS), & API testing using postman
  • Experience in e-commerce or related industries
  • Experience in functional and acceptance testing 
  • Experience working with JIRA
  • Self-organized and has an eye for details
  • Well versed in oral and written communication
  • Hands-on experience in Appium and Selenium using Java or any other programming language
  • Basic knowledge about SQL
