Through our Sephora Stands initiative, we are committed to drive social impact and sustainability on Diversity Day (D-Day). In our efforts to strengthen the understanding and awareness of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) in Sephora, our regional D&I Committee has lined-up myriad activities planned across the 2020 calendar year – consisting of workshops, communications, and engagement programmes.

#IBelong

#IBelong is the central theme for our D&I engagements in 2020, with the objective of driving a greater understanding of Inclusion. We had an intimate session across our HQ and Retail employees which included a D&I Bingo activity that enabled Sephorans to gain more understanding on the concept of Diversity & Inclusion, as well as an opportunity to know their peers on a deeper level.

Sephorans were also given a safe space to share their personal experiences, facilitated by thought-provoking questions, and several applicable call to actions. Concluding the session, Sephorans pledged themselves to #IBelong – committing themselves to nurture a sense of belonging for all in the workplace, and building a community that is accessible to everyone. ‘Thank You For Making A Difference’ cards were also handed out, for Sephorans to write encouraging messages to their peers and loved ones – appreciating them for being uniquely them.
