District Manager
At Sephora, we reimagine beauty, discover new brands, and influence positive change every day. As the District Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the client services and experience, driving sales, people development, merchandising, and operational functions of your designated district of stores to deliver on store KPI’s and maximize profitability. Leading a team of Store Manager’s, the District Manager will collaborate with the field operations team to develop a culture of engagement, innovation and motivation within the store network. The District manager will partner with the support office team on company initiatives, and champion these with the store network.

- Developing store management team to be effective leaders through training and in store coaching
- Delivering top line business KPI’s for your district, including sales, conversion and average basket
- Fostering an environment that provides development opportunities at all levels of the retail team
- Directly coaching and developing Store Managers
- Issuing and analysing monthly reports (Match-to-traffic, units per worked hour) and providing recommendations to ensure that staffing is in line with the respective store’s customer traffic
- Clearly setting expectations and standards of work performance and behaviour in accordance with business expectations
- Ensuring all Sephora policies, procedures and audits are being carried out in the store network
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have a minimum of 5+ years of retail management experience
- Have previous cluster/district manager experience with solid commercial acumen
- Have a genuine appreciation for beauty retailing
- Are passionate about people development and empowering team to be the best versions of themselves
- Have strong stakeholder management skills
- Have a growth mindset
- Place client satisfaction at the core of any decision-making process
- Can demonstrate strategic thinking while being hands on and lead by example
- Are computer savvy with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
