Sephora Malaysia is looking to recruit an Omni Channel Logistics Executive.

 

 

Missions and Responsibilities

The Omni Channel Logistics Executive manages and monitors the end to end logistics operations in the Omni channel warehouse (3PL), domestic and overseas transport and last mile delivery to customers both B2B and B2C.

 

This role requires development and implementation of best in class logistics and inventory policies and procedures with the objective of delighting the customer.  Driving strict inventory policies and procedures both in warehouse and stores, delivery accuracy and best in class lead times with 3PL/Transportation providers are required.  All to be managed within a target operating cost and improvement year on year of operating costs in a high growth environment, considering future needs and capabilities.

 

Key Tasks:

Manages the relationship with the 3PL for Sephora Warehousing, Transport (domestic and freight forwarding) and fixture merchandising

  • Communicates business projected volumes related to warehouse operations in the retail, online and fixture movements
  • Support new stores openings related to stock arrival deadlines and fixture requirements
  • Liaises with Procurement and Planning teams to plan inbound and outbound operations priorities
  • Manages claims and quality issues both with suppliers and Customer service
  • Initiates and implements process improvements plans with our 3PL/Transport providers to drive down cost and improve efficiencies year on year
  • Liaises with Procurement team on inventory integrity issues driven from supplier / brand
  • Support and co-manage claims and quality issues both with suppliers, stores and customer service
  • Works on Last Mile delivery opportunities to unlock best in class customer experience
  • Reviews future needs, demands, capacities and capabilities required

 

Manages and guarantees accuracy of inventory at 3PL

  • Conducts monthly meetings with 3PL/transport providers to review performance service levels, Costs and KPIs and continuous improvement projects
  • Ensures inventory accuracy > 99.5%
  • Manages stock reconciliation between SAP and the 3PL WMS
  • Monitors correct execution of interfaces
  • Monitors specific flows impacting DC stocks and stores stocks (stock transfers, returns to warehouse from stores, Adjustments Disposals)
  • Manages and perform yearly full stock takes across 3PL
  • Monthly reporting and analysis of store stock movements
  • Ensure all audit requirements related to stock integrity is maintained and captured

 

Continuous improvement relating to logistics

  • Key SAP user related to logistics functions
  • Contingency planning for logistics related tasks

  • Warehouse and Transport Spend vs budget
  • 3PL Performance
  • Stocktake results in WH and Retail
  • Team Performance
  • DIFOT

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Logistics, ideally in retail including e-commerce, FMCG or Medical Industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or Supply Chain.
  • SAP experience required

  • Advanced Excel capabilities required
  • SAP and WMS experience
