Assistant Manager, E-Commerce

Its digital activities span over eight countries (retail countries excluding India, plus Philippines).  Sephora SEA has experienced rapid growth in the region with many more stores and countries to come.         



Sephora Malaysia is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager, E-Commerce.


As Sephora continues to grow rapidly in Malaysia, e-commerce has continuously been at the centre of our growth strategy. Commercial campaigns and our e-commerce operations have been instrumental in our digital transformation, and they are the key success elements in our e-commerce performance. The role of the Assistant Manager, E-Commerce will be to drive Sephora e-commerce campaigns and operations to continuously be in the best-in-class position!


As the Assistant Manager, E-Commerce, you will take lead in fostering a data-driven approach to commercial campaign planning and performance analysis, identifying new strategies or best practices, and facilitating new feature adoption with an omnichannel and consumer-centric approach.


Reporting to the Manager, E-Commerce, you will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders as well as the Regional Centre of Excellence team to sustain our growth ambitions.

  • Leading continuous improvement of campaigns planning & execution with a test-and-learn mindset supported with performance analysis and insights implementation.
  • Partnering with marketing and/or retail operation team to maximize support for brand campaigns and to drive omnichannel campaigns and initiatives collaboratively.
  • Partnering with brand partnership and category teams to drive business growth for our brand partners.
  • Being responsible for the weekly/monthly/campaign reports and to support the Manager, E-Commerce in sales forecasting, reporting and data analysis.
  • Supporting the last mile processes (end to end Operations, Fulfilment & Customer Service) to ensure the success of order processing, on-time delivery, and returns; as well as timely net sales recognition leading to commercial achievements.
  • Supporting SEA e-commerce project rollouts and other local initiatives.


We would love to hear from you if…

  • You have a minimum 4 years of experience in commercial and/or campaign planning, performance marketing, CRM or data analytics. Exposure in e-commerce business is highly preferred.
  • You have a university degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Analytics is preferred.
  • You are strong in project management and planning skills, with the ability to adopt strategies and drive execution in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders across the business.
  • You are innovative and creative – continually looking to demonstrate and drive improvements to commercial outcomes.
