FTP - Head of Visual Merchandising EME (W/M)

MISSIONS

 

  • Build differentiated & relevant visual merchandising concepts and guidelines
  • Define visual merchandising and store layout strategy
  • Make Sephora stores always more experiential and desirable
  • Push a more disruptive customer experience
  • Coordinate & facilitate implementation in countries, respecting deadlines and budgets

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • She/he will manage the visual merchandising of the Fragrance, Make-up, Skincare and Haircare categories, as well as the visual merchandising of Sephora Collection, for the EME zone.
  • She/he will conduct the development and implementation of Sephora institutional furniture as well as new permanent furniture for Sephora category destinations and for exclusive brands. She/he will define and conceive specific and breakthrough visual merchandising concepts & furnitures for flagships and image stores.
  • She/he will define visual merchandising guidelines, to support brands in the creation and validation of their furniture. In accordance with Sephora Collection’s strategy, this person will also be in charge of the merchandising for the brand at global EME level. She will manage in partnership with the  brand and with the EME category, furnitures and visual merchandising displays for Sephora Collection.
  • She/he will define the visual merchandising strategy and store layout to ensure that the in-store customer journey reflects both category issues and a strengthened customer vision. She/he will work closely with the architecture team on store concepts to define a disruptive and differentiating customer experience.
  • She/he will work on all these elements in close relation with the countries. Thanks to an excellent knowledge of the needs of the countries and a permanent support work, this person will support the countries in setting up in stores, guarantee the respect of timings & budgets, and must allow an excellent execution of the projects in the countries.

 

She/he will also :

• Manage a team of around seven people.

• Pilot business relationship with external partners.

• Be responsible for the visual merchandising budget.

 

PROFILE

 

  • 10 years minimum experience in Retail on Visual Merchandising, preferably in cosmetics and with an international scope. 
  • Strong customer focus, focused on action and results.
  • Creativity and ability to imagine new concepts.
  • Strong Retail expertise.
  • Excellent relationship in an international environment.
  • Ability to work in transversality.
  • Strong leadership and initiative.
  • Excellent management skills.
  • Imperative current English (working language).

 

ENVIRONMENT

 

Based at Sephora headquarters in Neuilly.
A few trips to the One Europe area to be expected.
