Sephora is the world’s most loved beauty community, offering a unique retail experience for passionate clients and innovative beauty brands, encouraging them to be fearless in their creativity and self-expression.
Founded in France by Dominique Mandonnaud in 1969, Sephora’s revolutionary concept offers clients a hands-on relationship with an ever-changing array of carefully curated brand partners, featuring trusted classics, indie darlings, emerging favourites and the critically acclaimed Sephora Collection.

SEPHORA and LVMH

As a world-renowned cosmetic selected retailing, Sephora joined the global luxury giant in 1997- LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (Hereinafter referred to as LVMH). LVMH owns nearly 70 various famous brands. The group's main businesses cover five areas: Wines & Spirits, Fashion & Leather Goods, Perfumes & Cosmetics, Watches & Jewelry and Selective Retailing. Brands include Champagne Moet & Chandon, Louis Vuitton, CELINE, Dior, Fred, Zenith, TAG Heuer etc.

SEPHORA in China

On 12 April 2005, Sephora opened its first store on Huaihai Middle Road in Shanghai and has expanded to major cities in China with speed and great ambitions. 
In 2006, Sephora launched Asia's first online shopping mall @ sephora.cn ; Sephora JD online shopping platform was officially launched in 2015; 
In 2016, Sephora officially opened its Tmall flagship store and launched Sephora's APP; In 2018, Sephora launched ‘BEAUTY POWER’ concept and WeChat Mini Program.
By March 2020, Sephora has set its footprints in 76 cities with 249 stores in China, providing consumers with a full range of beauty services in offline exclusive stores and also on Omni-channels such as Sephora Official Website, Official App, WeChat Mini Program, Tmall flagship store and JD.com flagship store, providing perfect experience to explore. 
Sephora has become the first market leader in prestigious beauty community to achieve omni-channel retailing.
