ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
As VP DotCA, you will lead a team of direct and indirect reports, based in US & Canada, to drive the Canada eCommerce business, champion Canada priorities, maximize leverage of US strategies/tech/processes, and sit on the Canadian Operating Team. Reporting to the North America GM of Ecommerce with a dotted line to the GM of Canada, you will work with Canada and US digital leadership teams to identify opportunities and build the DotCA strategic plan and priorities, to deliver the best digital shopping experience for beauty in Canada.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
eCommerce & Digital Marketing:
- Driving and achieving sales targets for $850+ site and apps. Manage the eCommerce P&L ensuring targets are met and exceeded through strategic planning and execution.
- Set and track eCommerce KPIs in line with the overall business goals. Develop channel budgets ensuring sales, costs and profit remain on track.
- Partner with Tech to drive local third party vendor strategies (e.g. Translations) and other DotCA specific Tech development needs. Prioritize opportunities and needs for the Canada eComm business and partner with US teams or with Tech to coordinate roadmap support, prioritization and investment.
- Responsible for the Canada Site, Apps, Omni Convenience initiatives & Partnerships. Dotted line oversight of DotCA Merchandising team.
- Oversee Canada DotCA Digital Marketing (Retention & Paid Media) to achieve KPIs by channel and activate against NA and Canadian priorities to deliver results.
Process Efficiency:
- Support efficient processes and operations, identify potential opportunities, and implement improvements across Canada.
- Set the direction, annual strategy and key priorities for DotCA business, including growth opportunities and areas of strategic local focus, with related investment and resource needs to support.
- Work closely and align with key US functional groups to ensure Canada is leveraging US assets/strategies/processes, including online merchandising, marketing/promo, CRM, creative and production teams.
- Partner with a broad network of cross functional partners, in US and Canada, including Finance, Supply Chain, and Planning and Operations in DotCA.
Strategic Leadership:
- Member of Operating Team in Canada, supporting the overall strategic direction and management of the Canada business.
- Build and manage the DotCA team to support the business priorities and financial targets. Develop and coach direct and indirect team to accomplish strategic objectives and individual career plans.
- Build momentum and support in Canada and US for the DotCA business and priorities, ensuring engagement and support. Champion the visibility and accomplishments of the business results and team.
- Travel is required on occasion within North America and internationally for market visits and collaboration with internal and external partners.
