ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you ready to shape our brand’s story through captivating, high-impact visual displays that inspire and delight every client who walks through our doors? Join Sephora as the Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising, where you will lead the end-to-end execution of Visual Merchandising programs in-store from initiation through creative execution and implementation. You will oversee highly visible and cross-functional projects and will act as a liaison between Merchandising, Marketing and Retail Ops teams to bring a flawless experience to both our Beauty Advisors and our Clients.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Fully own and lead the highly cross-functional Brand Pop-Up program, working directly with Leadership, Brands and Third-Party vendors in the ideation, creation design and execution of the 8 pop-ups on a monthly cadence that engage stores, delight clients and drive sales
- As a people leader, mentor and develop a high-performing team to successfully achieve business objectives
- Lead animation process for merchandising, publishing product priority for cross-functional teams across USA and Canada, and proactively monitor progress to meet deadlines and objectives
- Own the creation and execution of localized and unique product displays in conjunction with Merchandising and Marketing Production, including over the top fragrance launch displays
- Oversee the end-to-end process of localized multi-branded cross category fixtures from assortment creation to execution in stores
- Innovate and optimize ongoing Visual Merchandising communications to store that range from Monthly Animation-At-A-Glance, Promo Calendars, Holiday Communications, Visual Merchandising Standards Guidelines, and several other Canada unique projects that require communication to stores
- Analyze needs of the business and create new Merchandising communication tools to constantly improve the Field Team’s ability to implement the directives from head office
- Evaluate results in field through store visits, surveys, and key contacts to assess and continuously improve
- Support the Director with ad-hoc projects
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 8+ years of retail management experience, including visual merchandising and/or retail operations; corporate visual merchandising experience preferred
- Mentor and foster a work environment that embodies Sephora's values while communicating strategic direction to team members
- Proven experience in leading creative projects from concept to completion
- Great at expressing yourself clearly and creatively, in writing, conversation, and presentations at all levels of the organization
- You have an eye for detail while leading and balancing multiple projects, prioritizing integrity and accuracy in your craft
- Passionate about Sephora, our in-store experience, and creating unforgettable moments for our clients
- You are adaptable, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and relish in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- You are flexible, upbeat and energetic – a self‐starter with the ability to quickly build strong partnerships and effectively communicate needs and challenges
- You are tech-savvy and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, & Illustrator
