ABOUT THE ROLE:
 

As the Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing, you will play a key role on the SEPHORA Canada Marketing team as we champion a world of beauty where everyone belongs. Driving brand preference, excitement, traffic and deepening client engagement through the development of insight driven strategies and campaigns will be your mandate. Through strong leadership and collaboration, you will oversee local and leveraged work, looking for optimized, new and exciting ways to bring clients into the brand. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Integrated Marketing, you will be responsible for category, gifting and promotional campaigns that bring our differentiators to life. You and your team of high performing marketers will work to deliver programs with integrated strategies and channels to meet SEPHORA Canada’s key priorities.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
 

Champion the SEPHORA brand as the destination for beauty in Canada

  • Lead the development of breakthrough leveraged and local campaign to build awareness, drive categories and sales, from inception through to execution and hind-sighting, driven by insights and long-term strategies.
  • Lead ad hoc commercial projects to ensure Canada’s needs are represented & scoped into execution.
  • Support Sr. Director through annual planning and vendor relationship management, specifically with media, merchandising and US partners.

Drive Results

  • Drive awareness and shopping consideration by leading the local strategy and campaign execution of promotion campaigns in top-of-funnel, working in close collaboration with the US counterparts
  • Drive the non-holiday gifting strategy, with local and leveraged campaigns that elevate Sephora as the gifting destination all year round
  • Responsible for the strategy and execution of mid-funnel campaigns, driving desire and traffic for categories through local and leverage work
  • Oversee the Marketing execution of local and leverage value promotions
  • Partners with NA teams and external agency partners to deliver local hindsighting on leveraged and local initiatives.
  • Expertly develop and manage budgets, finding opportunities for efficiencies and continuous contingency planning.

Collaborate and Build Partnerships

  • Be a critical liaison in North American campaign planning and project process – representing Canadian localization requirements and driving campaign deliverables.
  • Drive efficiencies with local and US partners through campaign planning and execution to enable more agile and creative outcomes
  • Inspire cross-functional partners with big ideas to fuel Sephora’s brand desire and drive traffic in-store and online
  • Build strong partnerships across Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Analytics on on key seasonal and promotional campaign moments to optimize execution with on-brand, client centric omni-channel communications.
  • Lead and coach a team of high performing Marketers to develop and deliver exceptional work

  • Proven business acumen in understanding retail landscape, and effective marketing tactics across an omni-channel environment – with an ability to work at both a strategic and executional level.
  • Experience leading complex and cross-functional Integrated Marketing programs from strategy to execution and reporting. 
  • Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar media budgets with external agencies
  • Strong comfort working with established ideas to build out an integrated campaign, as well as starting from the ground up to create original campaigns tailored to local market trends and opportunities.
  • Comfortably can navigate and lead through complex organizational dynamics and constantly evolving processes confidently, while building partnerships to meet shared objectives.
  • Experience leading and coaching direct reports in a fast-paced, consistently evolving, high-growth environment
