Our Internal Creative Team is growing! As the Digital and Motion Designer, you are accountable for creating engaging digital properties and bringing our marketing activations to life. Your innovative approach champions best-in-class design across the digital channels, driving the engagement of our clients. You'll thrive in an environment where agility is paramount, multiple projects are always in play, and your impact is seen. You will report to the Associate Art Director with key responsibilities including:


  • Create digital properties at varying scales for numerous digital platforms including site, app, mobile, email, organic and paid social assets, and internal communications
  • Develop motion graphic assets at varying scales for numerous platforms including organic social, paid social, email, app, digital advertising
  • Champion brand standards and tone of voice throughout the design process
  • Engage in all phases of digital creative projects from concept through execution of storyboarding, wireframing, asset production, proofing and testing
  • Develop digital and motion graphic assets following the concept and vision brought forward by the Creative/Associate Art Director from static assets into final necessary formats i.e. .MP4, .GIF, .HTML5
  • Develop internal websites and microsites for Sephora Canada company-wide initiatives
  • Keep updated on current design processing techniques, design trends, and technologies to push SEPHORA to the forefront of design and production innovation
  • Partner cross-functionally with members of the larger marketing team as well as other departments in Sephora Canada and Sephora US.



  • 5-7 years of related experience in UI/UX/Digital/Motion Design
  • Bachelor’s degree, Post-graduate program, or College Diploma in Design
  • A passion and expertise for creative and conceptual solutions – bringing it to life with motion to deliver “thumb stopping” compelling creative executions
  • A strong pulse on the digital and motion design trends, UI/UX, and ability to incorporate best practices into design strategy 
  • A knack for working on multiple projects at the same time, proactively managing timelines, all the while delivering top-notch designs
  • Proficiency in producing HTML 5 animated assets and strong conceptual and typographic skills
  • Expertise in MAC OS, Adobe CC, Adobe XD, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, and design software
  • Familiarity with AODA standards for web and PDF
