ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

Are you passionate about developing comprehensive, client-centric training, content, and brand partnership strategies that best support our employees with category, product, and brand knowledge? Your role as the Director, Category & Brand Operations focuses on building employee expertise that drives sales and conversion while providing an excellent client experience! You will be working closely to develop skills and drive excellence in program and brand management, quality work, clear communication, and program execution. Come join Sephora's Store Experience and Optimization team to help build our employees' expertise and provide an excellent client experience!

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Mentor and foster a work environment that embodies Sephora's values while exercising open communication and collaboration, and providing career development planning and opportunities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build comprehensive ideas that enable fact-based decision making bringing strategic training plans to life
  • Create and implement driven, innovative, and sustainable training strategies that demonstrate the connection between vision and implementation while partnering closely with North American/global teams to use and localize content
  • Leverage client insights and employee performance data to advise category, product, and brand training and programs while using business insights to conduct analysis for all programming
  • Create and present program updates and recommendations to senior leadership across business functions and brand partners to influence strategies that drive efficiency and foster a positive client and employee experience

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 10+ years of retail operations/learning and development experience in varying capacities including content design, optimization, and change management planning; 5+ years leading teams in retail operating/brand management functions
  • You are a creative design-thinker and create pragmatic training programs, operations, and process improvement with objective and data oriented decision-making skills
  • You have mastered the art of collaboration with cross-functional partners/teams and love to balance multiple priorities through flexibility and adaptability
  • You pay great attention to detail, have great work ethic, and work product quality by communicating the vision and drive for innovation
  • You're game for travel! - up to 25% travel to stores and field leadership meetings
