The Opportunity:
As the Assistant HR Manager, you will support the Head of HR to create, implement and/or embed HR initiatives consistently across the Sephora network. In your role you will be providing hands on advice and coaching to employees. You will need to be an influential partner with managers, teams and regional HR actioning day to day HR processes and whilst working on designated HR projects. You will drive the Australian compliance standards for audit and legislation. By enacting the Sephora DNA and Being LVMH values you will support, coach and advise leaders in managing areas of performance, standards, change and culture.

- Creating, implementing and embedding HR initiatives for the network, such as career conversations, new processes relating to new systems, onboarding and probation management
- Partnering with Managers to advise on the people aspects and impacts of any business changes
- Managing all people related issues/processes for SEPHORA employees e.g. ER, absence issues, policy queries, grievances
- Supporting the identification, development, implementation, review and analysis of HR policies, practices and procedures
- Providing advice and counsel to Managers on issues related to performance of their employee’s and/or their teams
- Closely monitoring changing ER/IR legislation
- Being a change champion to support the businesses growth evolution as we grow our Store network
- Supervising the HR Coordinator and the Office & Team Assistant
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Tertiary Qualified in Human Resource Management or related discipline desirable
- 5 years’ experience in a Human Resource operational role with established business partnering skills and ER/IR experience
- Ability to support and influence change
- Working knowledge of current employment legislation
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail, beauty and/or FMCG is highly desirable
- Ability to support and influence change
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
- Strong planning and organising skills
